Al Anderson handles YFP’s personal financial planning and asset management functions, where his particular professional passion is working with individuals to determine the best use of their available resources in light of their current situation, likely future, and hopes and values. His community work also echoes this emphasis. He works with local high school students to map their way to a debt-free college graduation, adult couples at his church to resolve financial issues through the implementation of step-by-step planning, and other professionals of the Prescott Estate Planning Council to stay on top of laws and other developments that impact one’s ability to utilize wealth according to their wishes.
Al met his bride Alicia while at college in Ohio and they married in 2001. Both come from western pioneer roots; she grew up in Colorado and he is a fourth-generation Yavapai County resident. Their values and free time activities reflect this heritage. On the weekends you will likely find them enjoying their labor under the Arizona sun- making improvements to house and land, gathering firewood, building structures and furniture, gardening, raising rabbits, or assisting neighbors with their projects. When forced indoors they like to read and enjoy the company of friends. They have two lovely daughters, Lydia (2007) and Lynnea (2011) who they hope to raise as godly, hardworking, and independent women.
